Social Media 101
Social Media 101 is designed for relative beginners looking to separate the hype from what works. The core focus of Social Media 101 is a presentation of the fundamental aspects of social media, including the big three networks: Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The seminar puts these networks in the cold light of skepticism to help you work out what would work best for you. Also addressed: blogging / commenting, media creating and sharing (video / photos / podcasts). The goal of the seminar is to discover what will work for you, and what you should feel comfortable ignoring.

Social Media 101 is led by Burke Smith, Founder of YourNetCoach, and former CEO of iPayOne, who took his company from $0 to $450 million in real estate transactions in 18 months. iPayOne was acquired by Prudential California Realty.

Why you should attend Social Media 101:
The world of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the dozens of other sites and mobile applications, is a complex one. On the one hand, over 350 million people are on Facebook, spending an average of 55 minutes each day there, representing an enormous unprecedented opportunity to get in front of potential buyers and sellers. On the other hand, during those 55 minutes, very few people want to be confronted with advertising or self-serving promotional blurbs about your listings, so how do you get their attention and hold it long enough for them to reach out to you about your services or a listing?
