Roxanne Donovan, one of the New York metropolitan area’s leading public relations executives, formed Great Ink in 1992. She has more than 20 years of combined experience in journalism, media relations and public relations strategic planning with a specific emphasis on the real estate arena. In addition to securing controlled, steady positive media coverage for her clients, Roxanne is an expert in crisis communications, team-building and community relations. She has also managed hundreds of special events, including ground breakings, topping out ceremonies, broker parties, business seminars, and the unveiling of unique corporate strategies.
Roxanne has extensive journalism experience. A former New York Daily News business reporter covering real estate and economic development, Roxanne also served as Senior Editor of Commercial Property News and Editor of Real Estate Weekly. She also reported and wrote for consumer magazines and daily newspapers around the Northeast, including the Syracuse Herald-Journal, SPIN and Hamptons Magazine. Prior to forming Great Ink, Roxanne served as Director of Corporate Communications for the Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc., the predecessor to Insignia/ESG and CBRE, the country’s largest commercial real estate concerns, where she directed both local and national media relations campaigns and was responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to announce major brokerage transactions, new developments, personnel changes and creative corporate mandates.
