Matthew Shadbolt is the Director of Internet Marketing at The Corcoran Group, Manhattan’s leading real estate agency. His responsibilities include the development of the strategic direction and tactical implementation of the company’s award-winning website, corcoran.com, as well as supporting its interactive marketing platforms in social media, mobile, video and emerging technologies. In addition, Matthew optimizes website and advertising performance, translating Corcoran’s brand online; streamlines and develops innovative web content; and develops digital marketing options for agents, transitioning print marketing and advertising into a strong and effective online/digital voice. During his tenure at Corcoran, online visitor traffic has quadrupled. He has assembled a team of web developers dedicated to corcoran.com web marketing initiatives, and conceptualized a large number of successful value-driven projects. These include such features as the ‘Open House Planner’ tool, ‘Most Viewed Properties Now,’ and the inclusion of restaurant and lifestyle recommendations from Zagat Survey, among others. In December 2009 Matthew successfully spearheaded the launch of Corcoran’s iPhone App. Matthew is a panelist on the Neighborhoods & Hyperlocal Marketing panel.
